Pgn Reader Home!
Put simply, the Pgn Reader is an applet made for the internationnal chess team Synergie that allows to display games visually from it's pgn (Portable Game Notation, which uses the Condensed Algeabraic Chess Notation). It is freely available to anyone without any kind of license (however, the code is not distributed).
A demonstration of the actually most recent version can be found here : Version 2.1.
As for Version 2.2, I just released a Beta!!! Check it out here : Version 2.2.
Currently working on
Those features are in progress for version 2.3
- mod - Ajustments to PGN interpretation for better conformity to PGN standards
- mod - Recognition of comments without use of any special symbol
- add - alternative line

button - add - contextual menu for cut/copy/paste on the textbox
- add - FEN notation support (for custom initial position)
- add - make applet resizable to fit smaller screens
- add - ECO code and opening name recognition
